How to add your own map in game! (Guide) (3D modeling) - jdm4ik - 01-26-2016

1. You can use the "grid_1" map as template for sizes and Spawn point (Right in the center)

2. Make your own map

3. Assign materials and set the specularity and glossiness to 0.0

4. Export your map as .obj (In 3DS Max the .mtl file will generate automatically)

5. Put the .obj + .mtl files and textures (.png/.jpg) to the same directory: .../Drift Streets Japan_Data/mods/maps/your_map_name/your_map_name.obj + mtl + textures.

Let's see..

Importing Bihoku ->

Importing the grid for adjustment & adjusting the spawn location on Bihoku

[Image: TXWGN1q.jpg]

Adjusting the height level of Bihoku, matching with the ground of the grid at spawn.

Exporting, starting DSJ, LAN.
