Engine Upgrades? - Beagle - 02-16-2016

Does anyone know how the performance of your car is affected when you upgrade a certain part of the engine in game. An example would be like does upgrading exhaust change the cars performance in a specific way or does it just add or subtract from the horsepower? Thanks.

We test it on different cars and can't see any changes with different upgrades, but maybe it work, we still doesn't sure.

So far it looks like its just HP/speed difference, explaining why hacked cars with infinite HP practically teleported.

Everything is the same except for the turbo upgrade. Power is power in this game, so when you upgrade any part except the turbo, you just increase your overall power. There are no trade-offs when upgrading, as there's nothing else it affects. Power goes up and that's it.

Turbo works differently, as it has lag. That's it. Same increase in power, but it doesn't come online until around 4k RPM or something.

Some parts add 5hp and others at 2 or 3hp, good to know for getting the whole number'd powers like 300hp or 666hp. Then turbo works like turbo irl. Starts with way less power and you have way more towards higher revs due to it charging
